The vibrant city of Vienna hosted the kickoff meeting of the AI-GREENER Entrepreneurship Project, marking the official launch of an ambitious European initiative that blends green thinking with artificial intelligence.
Partners from seven countries gathered at Michl’s Café for two days of collaboration and planning. Coordinated by Hquadrat Wolfsberg (Austria), the consortium includes organizations and educational institutions from Portugal, Turkey, Greece, Bulgaria, Latvia, and Austria.
The project, introduced by Mrs. F. Pais, aims to empower secondary school students to design green, sustainable companies using digital and AI tools. Through collaborative international training and hackathons, students will gain real-world experience in eco-conscious entrepreneurship.
🚀 Project Highlights:
- AI-GREENER HUB: A digital platform offering 56 lesson plans, an e-guide, and 21 inspirational video interviews.
- Two Teacher Training Courses: Set in Darica, Turkey (June 2025) and Kefalonia, Greece (September 2025), training 28 educators who will then lead local workshops.
- Hackathons Across Europe: Five national hackathons involving 120 students, culminating in an international final in Graz, Austria in October 2026.
- Green Entrepreneurship Map: A showcase of 70 case studies from local green digital businesses across Europe.
- Digital Replication Workshops: Over 200 teachers will engage in workshops replicating training content at the local level.
The Vienna meeting also covered project management, dissemination strategies, budgeting, and digital communication tools—with Microsoft Teams selected for coordination.
This exciting start promises a meaningful journey toward building the next generation of green innovators. Stay tuned as AI-GREENER continues to grow!
